Handle a sign-in connection failure safely

A general sign-in error does not prove that your password is wrong. The app distinguishes some credential errors from connection or server failures.

What to do

  1. Record the exact message and time.
  2. Check whether your device has a working connection without following links from an unsolicited message.
  3. Retry once when the connection is stable.
  4. If the error persists, report your app version and the message through the official support route.

What you should see

You either sign in normally or have a reproducible error report without changing unrelated account data.

If it does not work

Avoid repeated password resets, new accounts or clearing all app storage as the first response. Do not include passwords, tokens or one-time codes in the report. This procedure does not bypass account verification.

For support, include the screen name, time, app version and a redacted error. Never share passwords, OTPs, payment PINs or secret keys.
