Understand the consequence before disabling stock tracking

Disabling tracking is not a way to mark a product sold out. It changes whether this inventory workflow tracks the product.

What to do

  1. Open Inventory Management and locate the exact product.
  2. Record its current balance and any discrepancy you still need to investigate.
  3. Choose the disable action and read the confirmation before accepting.
  4. Refresh and check that the product is now shown as untracked.

What you should see

The tracking state changes after the service confirms. This action is separate from deleting the product or cancelling its orders.

If it does not work

If your aim is to stop selling an unavailable item, do not assume disabling tracking achieves that. Use the relevant product availability controls and check the storefront. Preserve stock evidence before changing how it is tracked.

For support, include the screen name, time, app version and a redacted error. Never share passwords, OTPs, payment PINs or secret keys.
