Edit an existing category instead of duplicating it The category editor supports updating the selected category's title and description. Use the existing category when correcting its wording.

What to do Find the category in Categories. Open its edit action and confirm the existing name and description. Make the intended correction and save. Wait for Category updated successfully, then refresh the list and inspect it. What you should see The existing category shows the revised wording rather than a second near-identical entry.
If it does not work Check which category you opened before saving. Do not assume renaming creates redirects or changes every marketing link automatically. If the update is uncertain, reload the existing record instead of creating another category.
For support, include the screen name, time, app version and a redacted error. Never share passwords, OTPs, payment PINs or secret keys.
