Direct payment

Confirm a direct transfer using your own payment record

A shopper's transfer claim, reference or screenshot is not proof that your account received the money. The Direct Pay screen explicitly leaves receipt verification with the merchant.

What to do

  1. Find the relevant order and the amount the customer says they paid.
  2. Open your own trusted bank or UPI app independently, not a link supplied in a message.
  3. Compare the actual credited transaction, amount and timing with the order.
  4. If the receipt is uncertain, keep the payment unresolved and use the normal support or customer clarification process.

What you should see

You have a matching credited transaction in your own account before treating the transfer as received.

If it does not work

Do not ask the customer to pay again just because a screenshot is unclear. Do not share your PIN or approve a collect request to receive money. A duplicate or mismatched reference needs investigation, not an automatic acceptance or refund.

For support, include the screen name, time, app version and a redacted error. Never share passwords, OTPs, payment PINs or secret keys.
