Create a product category with a useful description The category form requires a name of at least two characters and a description of at least ten. A category should describe a real grouping, not a temporary workaround for one failed product save.

What to do Open Categories and use the add control. Enter the category name and description. Submit and wait for Category added successfully. Choose Add Product to continue with the new category preselected, or Done to return. What you should see The new category appears in the category list and can be selected for a product.
If it does not work If saving fails, search the refreshed list before creating a duplicate. Do not use a description unrelated to the grouping merely to reach the minimum length. Category-image upload is not established by this particular form.
For support, include the screen name, time, app version and a redacted error. Never share passwords, OTPs, payment PINs or secret keys.
